I purchased this to split the DirecTV signal to a TV input and my Logitech Revue so that my 3D channels wouldn't be disabled (as the Revue won't pass through the 3D handshake). Unfortunately, when the Revue is plugged in, the splitter doesn't pass the handshake either, so I have to unplug the Revue in order for the 3D channels to enable. While this is more convenient than pulling inputs on the back of the boxes, it still doesn't achieve the no muss, no fuss result I was looking for. (Posted on 9/20/11)
