Product Description

Very compact, but powerful HDMI splitter. This HDMI splitter is great if you would like to save some shelf space, but still keep the support for 1080p resolution and digital audio. Use this HDMI splitter to connect one HDMI device to 2 displays.

Note: Most Television models will both need to be powered on for this splitter to function properly.

Important Note

When not using a direct connection between the source and destination, there is always the chance for some signal loss. It is highly recommended to utilize a minimum of 24AWG (thickness) HDMI cables for lengths up to 10 ft. When it comes to lengths more than 10ft, it's advocated to go even thicker with 22AWG HDMI Cables.

I bought to split a directv signal to two tv's. Works fine while both tv's are on, but when I turn off the tv from the #2 split, I have to reset the splitter to get the signal back to it when I turn the tv back on. (Posted on 4/21/11)

The splitter worked fine after I hooked it up.
A day later, it stopped working. I pushed the reset button and it worked for about an hour. I pushed the button again and got nothing. I disconected the splitter and contacted cable train and was sent a return UPS shipping lable. I hooked it up once again to be su re it was not working. It did work and has been since. In the mean time I purshased some RCA Cables "Just in Case". (Posted on 3/21/11)

I am pleased with the quality of the picture on both TVs. The one drawback is that both TVs must be on for the system at startup, otherwise you get no picture. Once it is up you can turn off either TV and it works just fine. (Posted on 2/28/11)
