Had replaced a dead TV with a new one and found all of the new TVs had larger 200x200 VESA mounts (even though they are much lighter). I didn't want or need to replace my wall mount so I looked for an adapter plate. I moved up from a 26 inch Vizio TV to a 32 inch Samsung TV. The Vizio mount was 75 mm X 75 mm, and the new Samsung mount was 200 mm X 200 mm. This adapter allowed me to use my existing wall mount and increase my "bolt pattern". But make sure that your "old" mounting bracket can support the weight of the new TV. It worked perfectly for me!!! It even came with all the needed hardware!!! I recommend it instead of buying a new mount. But just make sure your "weights" are compatible.
