The main purpose of this adapter is to connect a 3.5mm S/PDIF phono output on the PC's sound card or mobile device into the digital coxial port on the audio receiver or multi-channel audio processor using a regular RCA cable.

Note: Your output device must have the ability to transmit a digital coaxial signal. This adapter won't work in a case where your device only sends out L/R analog stereo signals or perhaps is a small tosklink optical output.
