The recessed low voltage wall plates will provide your installation with a completed apperance and allow you to run multiple cable types of your choice. For example, instead of having a different plate for your HDMI and component video cable runs, you can simply run the two lines down these plates.
The most common use is to install one directly behind the television, and another behind your devices.
