A common problem that people have with their home theater setup is finding a way to switch between multiple components to several receivers or displays. Even though there are audio/video receivers that have this capability, they might have a limited number of outputs and inputs. There are receivers that have multiple HDMI outputs and inputs, but they can be quite expensive. This splitter is a great solution to that problem.
This is an economical solution that will give you the ability to switch between 4 devices and out to 2 displays. Enjoy high resolution video and multi channel digital audio formats with this 4x2 HDMI switch.
When not using a direct connection between the source and destination, there is always a possibility for some signal loss. It is strongly suggested to use a a minimum of 24AWG (thickness) HDMI cables for lengths up to 10 feet. For lengths longer than 10ft, it is recommended to go even thicker with 22AWG HDMI Cables.
