Product Description

The HDMI switch eliminates this issue by enabling you to hook up a number of devices into one HDMI input on the TV and change between them just by pushing a button. It is a simple device, yet incredibly handy and powerful.

This HDMI switch supports each of the high resolutions used by the most recent devices with support for 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p.

This switch works with all prior versions of HDMI supports all of the latest features of HDMI 1.3 this includes Deep Color (much more vibrant color) and enhanced multi channel digital audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The built-in signal booster makes up for potential signal loss and provides maximum range and signal strength.

You also get a remote controller for convenient changing amongst the connected devices. You may either push the buttons on the front side of the switch or use the remote to switch the source.

There isn't any software installation necessary with our HDMI switch selection - simply just connect your devices and you are ready to go!

Important Note

When not using a direct connection between the source and destination, there's always the chance for some signal loss. It is highly recommended to utilize a minimum of 24AWG (thickness) HDMI cables for lengths up to 10 ft. For lengths more than 10ft, it is recommended to go even thicker with 22AWG HDMI Cables.

I am using it to switch a TIVO, DVD Player and a Satellite TV Box. This unit switches all of them without any problems. My only complaint is that the LED indicators are way too bright. This unit could be used as a night light in a dark room and I find the indicators are a distraction when the unit is close to the TV screen. There needs to be a way to dim them or shut them off. I put black electrical tape over them because the unit was acting like a night light in the bedroom where it was being used. (Posted on 3/22/11)
