How to Install Closed Screw Type Banana Plugs

Step 1: Seperate the speaker wire (Note the striped side marking polarity). Color code the banana plug and wire the same for each end. (example: black/stripe; red/nostripe). Then strip the plastic off of the wire as shown.

Step 2: Unscrew the bottom of the banana plug and feed the copper end through the top. Now bend the copper wire down without covering the screw threads so it is held in place.

Step 3: Tightly screw back together closing the bare copper wire inside for all ends of the wire.
