If you wish to prevent cable clutter, the most popular and effective way is to hide the wires behind the wall . The easiest method to approach for this system is to get wall plates for all of your cabling including speaker wall plates in this case.
This speaker wall plate will enable you to keep all of your long cables behind the wall structure and have a short cable from the wall to your device.
Make interior design less difficult and contemporary without needing to see sloppy wires again. You will be able to put in speakers at any place in your house and run the speaker wire throughout the wall and into the wall plate near your A/V receiver.
Although you may use bare wire with this plate, it is suggested to choose banana plugs to terminate the speaker wire. This can give you more ease whenever connecting your speakers and they will also help with the overall appearance of the setup. The coupler type loudspeaker wall plates have the same connections on both sides of the plate. No soldering is necessary using these wall plates. Speaker wall plates may be connected to the wall with a gang-box or a wall bracket. Each of which can be found at a hardware store near you.
The terminals on the wall plates are able to accept wire gauges as thick as 12AWG and possibly 10 gauge.
