Used this to connect my PS3 to my 27" monitor in 1080p. Works flawlessly for that, carries the sound as well (I hear there's some cables that don't). It's a decent length, long enough to go from your monitor (or tv) on whatever stand/table to the floor. If you're thinking of something that requires more distance, go with a longer cable. Have used these before so ordered more for other new tv.They are so reasonably priced cannot imagine why someone would pay for monster cables! so overpriced! Cables were exactly as advertised. Arrived very quickly and have worked perfectly since purchase. They replaced other cables I had bought from another online retailer and I was experiencing technical problems with the picture cutting out during dvd's. I would continue to buy from cabletrain.
